AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software

The AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software allows for direct communication through the RS232 port on each AHSS unit; it is intended for use while directly plugged into the AHSS unit, not for distanced access. This software allows the user to scan the AHSS unit for current measurement readings and conduct routine calibration and/or maintenance. It also assist in diagnosing any potential issues with the AHSS unit. 

To communicate with the AHSS unit, in addition to the Model DT2 Calibration Terminal, a USB-to-RS232 Adapter and RS232 Cable are needed to connect the RS232 port on the AHSS unit to the USB port on the DT2 Terminal. Note the AHSS unit may need to be reset. 

The AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software comes installed on each Model DT2 Calibration Terminal, which is included, along with general maintenance supplies, in the Calibration Kit. This software may also be purchased separate for use on customer computers or laptops. 

Please refer to the AHSS Technical Manual for instructions on how to communicate, calibrate, and run diagnostics using the Model DT2 Terminal. This manual is included as a PDF on each DT2 Terminal, as well as in paper form as part of each Calibration Kit. 

Please note: The Model DT2 Calibration Terminal is a modified Windows tablet or 2-in-1 laptop. For this reason, the make and model may vary according to availability. Deban always provides the latest stable release of the AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software, regardless of the tablet or laptop. ​

AHSS Shore Unit Interface Software

The AHSS Interface Software is designed for continuous, long-term monitoring and logging of heat stress conditions and is ideal for distanced communication, as would be needed with the AHSS Shore Unit. It communicates with the AHSS Shore Unit through the 200ft Interface Cable and the Interface Box, which also supply power to the unit.

The AHSS Interface Software has all the same capabilities as the AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software with respect to calibration and issue diagnosis. In addition to these, the Interface Software automatically saves and displays the latest heat stress data, as well as the current flag conditions. 

The AHSS Interface Software comes as part of the AHSS Shore Unit service package and may also be purchased on the side for use on customer computers or laptops.

Please note: The AHSS Interface Software will only log and save data while the computer or laptop is turned on. Make sure to adjust settings so that the computer does not go to sleep or into hibernate while collecting data.
