AHSS Model 19506

The Automated Heat Stress System (AHSS) provides a continuous, on-line measurement of Dry Bulb (DB) Temperature, Wet Bulb (WB) Temperature, Globe Temperature (GT), and Relative Humidity (RH). ​

​AHSS Model 19506 includes:

• AHSS Unit (PN: 093134)
• RH sensor (PN: 19509)
• Dry Bulb sensor (PN:19510)
• Globe sensor (PN: 19511)
• Optional: EMI Backshell and Connector

Please note: The AHSS unit and each sensor can be purchased separately. However, the AHSS unit requires the sensors to be installed in order to take measurements; the AHSS unit cannot function properly without sensors.

AHSS Shore Unit

The AHSS Shore Unit (PN: 093185) is a heat stress system designed for use outdoors. A specially-designed weather enclosure protects the AHSS unit from harsh weather conditions and includes a built-in ventilation system to maintain air circulation.

• Complete AHSS Unit, with RH, Dry Bulb, and Globe sensors (PN:19506)

​*The Mini Calibration Kit includes calibrators, calibration salts, cables, and a spare set of sensors which is used for maintenance of the AHSS Shore Unit.

AHSS Software

Deban provides two software choices for use with the AHSS units: the AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software, and the AHSS Shore Unit Interface Software. 

The AHSS Setup and Diagnostic Software, included on each Model DT2 Calibration Terminal, allows for direct communication with AHSS units. It is intended for use while plugging directly into the AHSS unit for routine calibration and diagnosis of issues with the AHSS unit. This software comes included on the Model DT2 Calibration Terminal that is supplied with each Calibration Kit. The software can also be purchased for use on customer computers or laptops. 

The AHSS Shore Unit Interface Software is specially designed for use with AHSS Shore Units. While it includes all the same capabilities of the Setup and Diagnostic Software, it is designed for continuous, long-term measurement and logging of heat stress conditions. This software is included with each AHSS Shore Unit and can also be purchased for use on the side.
